CodePhantom Demo Hits Steam on October 8

Developer RRR announced on September 30 that the demo for CodePhantom, a humanoid combat mech 3D action game, will launch on Steam on October 8. Players pilot the mech PHANTOM, raising a sync rate in combat that strengthens its abilities, and can combine rifles, gatling guns, shotguns, handguns, and blades. The demo joins Steam Next Fest from October 20 to October 27 Japan time. Release is set for PC via Steam by the end of 2026.

The demo is not the only October date for CodePhantom. It also takes part in Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition, running from October 20 to October 27 Japan time, giving players a window to try the build alongside the rest of the festival lineup.

The game is built around PHANTOM, a humanoid mech the pilot is synaptically linked to. Fighting enemies raises the sync rate, which strengthens all of the mech's abilities in real time. Once the rate passes its limit and the Over Sync state triggers, combat shifts to super-high-speed fighting on a different dimension from normal.
