Daiku-Maryu Gaiking Joins Kōshin Class As Rakuten Books Preorders Open
The Kōshin Class slot gives the Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu design a mid-tier release that promises Takuetsu Class size with heavier paint work and original design changes, and the discount on Rakuten Books puts it under the reference price at preorder.

MOSHOWTOYS has opened preorders on Rakuten Books for a Kōshin Class Daiku-Maryu Gaiking figure from Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu. The painted poseable figure, listed by Kotobukiya at a reference price of 23,100 yen and sold at 20,600 yen tax included, sits between the Takuetsu Class and Shishin Class lines. The series uses painting and multi-layered color separation beyond Takuetsu Class, keeps equipment faithful to the licensor's settings, and adds original arrangements to some designs.
The listing places the figure at the same product size as existing Takuetsu Class licensed items, with a stated position between Takuetsu Class and Shishin Class. MOSHOWTOYS says the line keeps the equipment and gimmicks faithful to the licensor's original settings and adds original arrangements to some designs, so buyers get display and poseable or transforming gimmicks in one package.
The seller is Kotobukiya. The reference price is 23,100 yen and the Rakuten Books sale price is 20,600 yen including tax. The notice adds that the conventional Takuetsu Class Sosen Kōka series has no changes to specifications or development plans, and that the images show a product still in development.
