Dark Horse Manga announced at Anime NYC on Friday that it will release two graphic novels in Hideyuki Kikuchi and Yoshitaka Amano's Vampire Hunter D franchise. The Vampire Hunter D: Fortress of Blood comic debuts December 16, and the English translation of Saiko Takaki's Vampire Hunter D: Rose Princess manga arrives in March 2027.
The Vampire Hunter D: Fortress of Blood comic series is written by Chris Condon, drawn by Filipe Andrade, colored by Jordie Bellaire, and lettered by Frank Cvetkovic. Andrade draws the main cover art, with variant covers from Riccardo Federici and original Vampire Hunter D cover artist Yoshitaka Amano.
Subsequent issues will carry cover art from Emma Rios, Dan Quintana, and Eliza Ivanova. Rose Princess is Takaki's manga adaptation of the ninth novel, The Rose Princess.
