DOOM (2016) Goes Free For Amazon Prime Members Until November 5
Amazon is using two catalog titles as Prime retention bait rather than a marquee new release, which tells you where the service's giveaway budget sits in 2026.
Reporting from 1 source: Game Spark.
Amazon's Prime member service Amazon Luna is giving away two PC games at no cost until November 5, 2026: the GOG.com version of DOOM (2016) and the Epic Games Store version of Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit. Claiming either title within the window keeps it permanently. The GOG build of DOOM is single-player only, with no multiplayer or SnapMap.
The GOG.com version of DOOM carries no DRM, but it also drops multiplayer and the SnapMap online features, so the giveaway is the campaign only. Into the Pit arrives in its Epic Games Store form, the 2D adventure built around the tenth anniversary of the Five Nights at Freddy's series, in which Oswald moves between eras through a ball pit and escapes pursuing animatronics. Both titles stay in the library after the November 5 deadline once the acquisition step is completed. DOOM Eternal is separately free on Amazon Luna until October 22, so the earlier giveaways overlap with this one.
- DOOM (2016), GOG.com version: Single-player only; no multiplayer or SnapMap online features
- Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, Epic Games Store version: 2D adventure marking the series' 10th anniversary
