Dungeon Friends Forever Manga Will End With Its 8th Volume
The ending lands while Seven Seas is still one volume behind Kadokawa, so English readers will finish the series only after the eighth Japanese volume arrives.

Kadokawa lists the eighth compiled volume of Yasuhisa Kuma's Dungeon Friends Forever as the series' final volume, shipping November 20. The romantic comedy follows adventurer Van and his childhood friend Ryuka, a dragon who runs a dungeon. Kuma launched the manga in Monthly Comic Alive in January 2022, and Kadokawa published volume seven in November 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment releases the series in English, with volume seven due physically on October 27.
A November 20 ship date for volume eight closes the series in Japan. That gives the manga a run of eight collected volumes, which began when Kuma launched it in Monthly Comic Alive in January 2022.
English readers are further back. Seven Seas publishes Dungeon Friends Forever physically and digitally, and its physical edition of volume seven arrives October 27. The story follows Van, an adventurer, and Ryuka, a dragon and the boss of a dungeon, whose childhood friendship carries into adulthood.
