Edia Opens Psikyo Memories Site, Lists 12 Games For February 18
A 12-title Psikyo set that has been announced but undelivered for PlayStation 5 since 2020 now has a storefront, a date, and a second platform, which is the first concrete movement on that catalog since the 2020 Switch and 2022 PS4 collections.
Reporting from 1 source: Anime News Network.
Edia opened the official website for Psikyo Memories on Monday and revealed the full game list: Strikers 1945, Strikers 1945 II, Strikers 1999, Gunbird, Gunbird 2, Gunbarich, Zero Gunner 2, Sol Divide: Sword of Darkness, Dragon Blaze, Samurai Aces Episode I, Samurai Aces Episode II: Tengai, and Samurai Aces Episode III: Sengoku Cannon. Pre-orders also opened Monday. The collection releases February 18, 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5, and includes a gallery of archive materials.
The archive gallery is the part the previous compilations did not carry. Not every Psikyo scrolling shooter made the cut: the twelve games line up exactly with the list attached to the 2020 PlayStation 5 collection that never shipped, so this release is picking up where that plan stopped rather than building a new lineup. Pre-orders opened the same day as the site. The date is February 18, 2027, on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5.
