Football Manager 27 Opens Five-Day Free Preview Before November 11 Release

Opening the pre-release build to everyone instead of pre-purchasers, with progress carrying into the full game, is how Sports Interactive says it will rebuild trust after the UI complaints around Football Manager 26.

Football Manager 27 Opens Five-Day Free Preview Before November 11 Release

Sega will run a free launch preview of Football Manager 27 from 3:00 a.m. JST on October 30 to 3:00 a.m. JST on November 4, with save data carrying over to the full release on November 11 for PC and Mac, Football Manager 27 Console for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and Football Manager 27 Mobile for iOS and Android via Netflix. Pre-orders open October 30 at 10% off.

The preview runs on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, and is also offered through Xbox and PC Game Pass. No advance registration is needed. During the preview each store takes 10% off, putting the PC version at 7,191 yen including tax, and buyers get a paid launch preview from 3:00 a.m. on November 4 until release.

Sega and developer Sports Interactive say the build has no limits on play time or progress. Some club and player data may be missing while approval procedures with rights holders are completed. The studio has tied the free window to its stated effort to rebuild players' trust in the series.
