Furyu released the official demo for ANOMALITH on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam on October 8, 2026, ahead of the game's October 29 release. The demo marks the first trial version distribution for PS5 and Switch 2. The Steam demo previously available has been upgraded to the official demo, and clearing it now unlocks development of one of three Armed JK Outfit sets, a Digital Deluxe Edition bonus. Players can explore the game's world and battles before launch. A similar demo campaign runs on the official X account from October 8 at 10:00 to October 18 at 23:59, with 50 winners receiving either 20 selectable game prepaid cards worth 10,000 yen each or 30 original novelty goods sets. The full game is priced at 8,580 yen for standard editions, 12,100 yen for the Danger Zone Countermeasures Room BOX, and 12,100 yen for the Digital Deluxe Edition.
The official demo fixes minor bugs and makes improvements for more comfortable play compared to the earlier Steam trial, so returning players and newcomers get the updated build. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes all three Armed JK Outfit sets with color variants, a three-weapon limited set, a Danger Zone Countermeasures Room Set, a digital art book, and a digital select mini soundtrack. Furyu also published streaming and posting guidelines covering gameplay commentary, video posting, and live streaming. The fan kit offers assets in English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean for use in commentary and streams. The commemorative campaign runs through the official X account, with entries by following the account and reposting the designated post. Prizes include prepaid cards for Steam, PlayStation Store, or Nintendo, delivered as online codes, and novelty goods such as a mission completion coin, logo sticker, cheer illustration sticker set, and examination card-style card.
