Good Smile Company Opens MODEROID Big O Preorders Again
A sold-out kit coming back at the same 8,900 yen with the eye light-up intact gives late buyers the same package without a markup, and the long shipping window to February 2027 tells you Good Smile is booking production rather than clearing leftover stock.
Reporting from 1 source: Inside.
Good Smile Company is taking preorders for a rerelease of MODEROID Big O, a plastic model kit of the Megadeus piloted by Roger Smith in The Big O. The kit stands about 230mm tall, stores the Griffon in both legs, has an opening cockpit, a light-up gimmick for the eyes using an included LED unit, and swappable parts for Missile Party and Cannon Party. Preorders run to November 4 at 8,900 yen, with shipping set for February 2027.
The kit's eye light-up runs on an LED unit packed in the box, so the effect needs no separate purchase. Griffon storage in both legs matches how the machine carries the robot in the show, and the Missile Party and Cannon Party launchers swap as parts rather than molded extras. Preorders close November 4 at 8,900 yen with tax, and shipping is scheduled for February 2027.
