Good Smile Opens Pre-Orders for PLAMATEA Mari Makinami Model
The kit ships with a wrist part sized for the rifle bundled with the separately sold MODEROID Evangelion Unit-08 Alpha, which ties the PLAMATEA figure to an existing model line rather than standing alone.

Good Smile Company has opened pre-orders at Rakuten Books for a PLAMATEA assembly-type plastic model of Mari Makinami Illustrious from Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition. The kit stands about 175mm tall with movable joints and interchangeable hands. It includes three facial expression parts, two types of glasses, decals, and a pedestal with a movable support post. Reference price is 8,699 yen; Rakuten Books lists it at 7,726 yen.
The kit is an assembly-type model, and Good Smile says the molded colors, pre-painted parts, and included decals let buyers get coloring close to the reference image by assembling alone. The face parts come in three options: smiling, screaming, and a sidelong glance. Two glasses are in the box, one with lens modeling and one frame only, plus a pedestal on a movable support post.
The rifle shown in the product photos is not included. It comes with MODEROID Evangelion Unit-08 Alpha, sold separately, and the PLAMATEA kit supplies a wrist part for holding it.
