Hamster Sets October 15 Release for Seta Shooter Special Forces U.A.G.
The dual-line release and the 330 yen upgrade price show Hamster treating the PS5 and Switch 2 versions as a continuation of a purchase rather than a separate sale.

Hamster will release Arcade Archives Special Forces U.A.G. for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on October 15, priced at 837 yen for PS4 and 838 yen for Switch. The same day brings Arcade Archives 2 Special Forces U.A.G. for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 at 1,100 yen, with a 330 yen owner discount for those who already bought the PS4 or Switch version.
The original is Seta's 1987 shooter, in which the player joins a special forces unit and rides a machine-gun-equipped bike toward an enemy base fortress. Towers and other buildings can be destroyed to drop a sidecar as a power-up item. Sidecar types differ: some extend bullet range, some fire only horizontally, and the player picks one to suit the situation.
Both entries support one or two players. The official Arcade Archiver program on YouTube plans a Special Forces U.A.G. feature stream for October 15.
