Why it matters
The episode moves the story's central tension from Rose's potion errand to Harij's unspoken feelings, which the review treats as the point where his attachment to Rose stops reading as brotherly.
Key Facts
- Episode 4 of Hello, I Am a Witch and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion! drew a community score of 4.3.
- Harij sees Tien leave Rose's house, hears him call her by name, and watches him pull down her hood.

- Princess Billaura is sixteen and her fiance is sixty, according to the review.
- Harij keeps his distance from Princess Billaura, who tells him she sees him as a brother.
The review reads his reaction as the moment his feelings stop looking platonic: he jumps to jealousy instead of asking follow-up questions, and his face and posture give him away even though he never says it aloud.
The review singles out the lake scene, where Harij's basket reflected in the water looks for a moment as if he dropped it, as a way of showing how shaken Tien's visit leaves him. It also contrasts his distance from Princess Billaura, whom he treats as a sister, with the way he keeps trying to get closer to Rose. Rose's own position stays fixed: as the princess' knight, Harij is presumably barred from telling anyone about the love potion, and Rose says she cannot explain who Tien is.
