Hytacka announced OVERSEEKER on October 14, with a roughly 9-minute story trailer on YouTube showing part of the story and some action. The new 3D action game follows Rise of Rebellion: When the Dragon Falls Upon the Earth's Punishment, which holds a 43% positive rating from 207 Steam user reviews, a Mixed status. A meteorite-like event starts the siblings' fight.
The trailer introduces two characters, an older brother named Noah and a younger sister named Ivy, described as professional killers who do not kill outside of work. They argue over Ivy killing a person named Keegan for personal reasons, and the battle begins when something like a meteorite falls.
Hytacka handles direction, game design, and co-writing. Mitsunagi, who worked on the previous title, handles programming, and Yuka Nishibe handles story original concept, cinematic advisory, and co-writing. OVERSEEKER is in development.
