Katsuwo launched a manga adaptation of Renren Ii's Oja no Ban Kuruwase shogi light novels in the November issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki Daioh G on Monday. The issue's front cover features the manga. Renren Ii began serializing the novels on Kakuyomu in December 2023. Kadokawa published the first print volume on March 21 with illustrations by Fujiko, the third on August 24, and the fourth is set for November 20.
The November issue of Dengeki Daioh G carries the first chapter and gives it the front cover. The novels have run on Kakuyomu since December 2023, with Fujiko illustrating the print editions. The fourth volume is scheduled for November 20.
Katsuwo's earlier series include Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu, which ended in April 2021 after eight volumes, and #Zombie Sagashitemasu, which ran from June 2022 to its third and final volume in January 2024. An anime of #Zombie Sagashitemasu is set to debut on October 3, with Crunchyroll streaming.
