Konami Digital Entertainment announced campaigns for the Castlevania series 40th anniversary on September 25. The original Castlevania, from the 1993 Family Computer release, is free for a limited time on App Store and Google Play through October 24. Series titles are on sale, and Castlevania: Belmont's Curse arrives October 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
The free version is the 1993 Family Computer original, and anyone who downloads it during the window can keep playing after the period ends on October 24. The discount runs across Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Steam, with the Anniversary Collection cut 80 percent, Advance Collection 70 percent, and Dominus Collection 50 percent. Konami also listed an orchestral concert in Tokyo, London, and LA in spring 2027, vinyl releases, a subscription music release on September 26, and merchandise events.
