Kotobukiya Opens Pre-Orders for Snowball Earth OSHI WORKS Figures
Kotobukiya is extending its OSHI WORKS line into Snowball Earth merchandise, and the shared magnet base points to a release planned as a set rather than a pair of one-offs.
Reporting from 1 source: Dengeki Hobby Web.
Kotobukiya opened pre-orders at Rakuten Books for two OSHI WORKS painted figures of characters from the TV anime Snowball Earth. Tetsuo Yabusame [GP037] has a reference price of 8,800 yen and a Rakuten Books sale price of 8,279 yen. Aoi Nogi [GP041] is listed at 9,350 yen and 8,752 yen. Both figures use magnets for positioning, and figures from the same series can share a single base.
The two figures are sold by Kotobukiya, with the pre-order pages hosted on Rakuten Books. Tetsuo Yabusame is sculpted with his feet planted on frozen ground, described as carrying a resolve to protect his comrades. Aoi Nogi is posed looking forward, described as earnest and straightforward. Both are painted completed figures in the OSHI WORKS line, which the listings present as offering the volume of a scale figure with a paint finish built to bring out the character.
Magnetic attachment lets buyers adjust the pose inside a display case, and multiple figures from the series can sit on one base.
