Kotobukiya is taking pre-orders for a 1/8 scale figure of Kurisu Makise from STEINS;GATE, and orders placed by September 29 will secure one, according to Inside. The figure reproduces a product first made in October 2010, sculpted from the illustration used on the Xbox 360 version's limited-quantity edition package. The character sits on a base of intertwined gears and looks into the distance. The sculpt recreates her loosened jacket and necktie, her boots, and a broken mobile phone. The figure costs 11,000 yen including tax. The release is scheduled for January 2027. A separate Kurisu Makise item is also in the works: Solarain has opened pre-orders for a 1/7 scale Racing Ver. figure in a racing girl outfit, priced at 27,500 yen including tax, with a plushie set at 30,800 yen and a standalone Punipuni Plushie at 3,630 yen. Good Smile Company's pre-order window for the Racing Ver. runs until December 2, with shipping set for September 2027.
The reissue carries a first-production detail from the original run: it uses the Xbox 360 limited-quantity edition package illustration as its reference, which is why the base is built from gears and the accessories include a broken phone rather than a lab setting. The sculpt's selling points per Inside are the loosened jacket and necktie and the boots, not the face alone.
The Racing Ver. comes from Solarain, and its first-production bonus is a collection card. The figure's flag has a metal Upa at the tip, and the jacket carries repeated Upa motifs, a Lab Member Badge, and an "I (heart) CRT" mark. Inside lists the hot pants and black tights as part of the body line, along with the thigh pressing against the leg ring.
The two products ship at different times: Kotobukiya's reissue in January 2027, Solarain's Racing Ver. in September 2027. Pre-orders for the reissue close September 29 or earlier if the run sells out; the Racing Ver. window runs to December 2.
