Kotobukiya Reprints Makise Kurisu Figure From Steins;Gate
A 2010 Steins;Gate figure tied to a specific Xbox 360 package illustration is being run again, which gives buyers who missed the original a second chance without a new sculpt.
Reporting from 1 source: Inside.
Kotobukiya is taking pre-orders for a reproduction of its 1/8 scale Makise Kurisu figure from Steins;Gate. The figure was first produced in October 2010 and is modeled on the illustration used for the Xbox 360 version's limited quantity edition package. It costs 11,000 yen with tax included. Pre-orders close on September 29, and release is scheduled for January 2027.
The reprint keeps the original composition: Kurisu seated on a base of intertwined gears, looking into the distance. The jacket and necktie worn loosely, the boots, and the broken cell phone are recreated as they were. Orders close on September 29 or when the upper limit is reached, whichever comes first, and the figure is scheduled for January 2027.
