Anko Chochin's Kuri Hime Ayakashi Yobanashi, the manga adaptation of Hyuganatsu's novel series, will end in Monthly Comic Zero-Sum's next issue on October 28, the magazine's November issue announced. The manga launched in the magazine in December 2024, and Ichijinsha published the second compiled volume on April 30. It follows Kinuko, a part-time college lecturer in weaving and Japanese studies living at Tamamayu Shrine.
The ending comes roughly two years after the adaptation began in Monthly Comic Zero-Sum in December 2024, with Ichijinsha publishing the first compiled volume in July 2025 and the second on April 30. The novel underneath has its own run: Hyuganatsu first put the story on Shosetsuka ni Naro under the title Otsukaresan Desu, Gokuro Sama, took it down after MyNavi Publishing released a print version in November 2016, and reuploaded it in November 2017 with the publisher's agreement, followed by a new volume in May 2018. Munashitsu drew the novel illustrations.
