Macross F Mini CD Collection 2 Heads to Gashapon in November
The lineup is built mostly from the film edition's CD jackets, so what the capsules sell is cover art and a QR code that plays the tracks, not the discs themselves.

The official Macross site announced on October 15 that Bandai's capsule toy Macross F Mini CD Collection 2 arrives in November 2026, with eight types at 400 yen per pull. It follows the first Macross F Mini CD Collection, released in August 2025, and draws mainly on CD jackets from the Macross Frontier films, among them Universal Bunny, Houkago Overflow and Toki no Meikyuu. Each case opens to show the inner jacket art, comes with a ball chain, and carries a QR code for the songs.
The announcement came from the Macross official account on October 17, with the eight-title lineup attached. Details beyond the month and the 400 yen price will be posted later on the Gashapon official site.
The set follows the pattern of the first collection: the inside of each jacket is reproduced as well as the cover, so the case can be opened and examined. Every type ships with a ball chain, and scanning the included two-dimensional code plays the songs in the lineup.
