Meicos Cosplay Event Set for Nagoya's Nana-chan Street in November

WCS, organizer of the World Cosplay Summit, will hold a new cosplay event, Meieki Cosplay in Nana-chan Street (Meicos), on November 21, 2026 in Nagoya. It is the group's first event in the Meieki area after building a track record in Sakae and Osu. The lineup includes cosplay photography and exchange, runway and performance stages, an anisong DJ stage, and kitchen cars. Tickets go on sale September 5 through CN Playguide.

WCS will run Meicos with Nagoya Railroad and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank as special sponsors. The changing room is at the Meitetsu Grand Hotel, which began selling an official accommodation plan on September 3 that bundles the Meicos participation ticket and changing room pass at a discount and allows all-day photography on the hotel's 12th floor during event hours.

Ticket sales open September 5 at 10:00 through CN Playguide, split into early advance, last-minute advance, and same-day windows. Passes cover cosplay changing rooms, cosplay participation, camera and general entry, and a special Meitetsu Grand Hotel photography ticket. The event runs 12:00 to 21:00, rain or shine, at Nana-chan Street, Meitetsu Grand Hotel, Nishiyanagi Park, and Meitetsu Shops.
