MSI Releases RTX 5080 Call of Duty Edition for 369,800 Yen
MSI is selling the game-themed design as part of the card's value at 369,800 yen, which puts a coated yellow heatsink and a two-year warranty in the same pitch as cooling and Blackwell performance.

MSI Computer Japan released the GeForce RTX 5080 16G COD MW4 EDITION OC in limited quantity at 369,800 yen. The card is a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 collaboration with a clear backplate panel, fan-center logo, and a yellow-coated heatsink, which MSI calls its first coated heatsink. It uses the TRI FROZR 4 cooler with STORMFORCE fans, and MSI extended GeForce RTX 50 series warranty coverage to two years.
The card carries the GeForce RTX 5080, NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture, with the latest RT cores, Tensor cores, and streaming multiprocessors. Cooling comes from MSI's TRI FROZR 4 design, which pairs the new-generation STORMFORCE fan with a heatsink built around an updated airflow control layout. MSI lists high cooling and quietness under high loads as the reason for the design.
The exterior work goes beyond color. A clear panel sits on the backplate, the fans carry a logo at their center, and the yellow applied to the fin section is the coated heatsink MSI says it is using for the first time. The two-year warranty applies to GeForce RTX 50 series cards with the product warranty sticker of an authorized distributor.
