Mushoku Tensei III Tops ABEMA's 2026 Summer Anime Comment Ranking
ABEMA has published its 2026 new summer anime final ranking for the July 2026 cours, and Mushoku Tensei III: Jobless Reincarnation took first place in the comment count ranking while also finishing first in view counts.
Reporting from 1 source: Magmix.
Why it matters
The top two works hold the same positions in both the comment and view count rankings, while positions three through five are comment-only results that diverge from the view count chart, so ABEMA's own data separates the shows people watched from the ones they talked over.

ABEMA tabulated roughly three months of viewing data from the July 2026 cours, counting real-time broadcasts and on-demand streams up to each show's final episode. The ranking covers new anime that started in that season, the same window that produced the summer's most argued-over gag title.
Mushoku Tensei III swept both charts, up from second in views at the interim ranking. The final episode drew a run of comments from viewers. Yani Neko's third place came on social media buzz around its cigarette-smoking beastfolk and extreme gags, which kept its comment section busy through the end. The fall cours is now underway.
