The measure is reaction at the moment a stream opens, not the shape of a whole season. Dwango counted plays, comments, and access across free and paid titles on Nico Nico between October 1 and October 18, 2026.
Reaction to the chart followed its own logic. Comments quoted with the results include "What, Apothecary is 4th?" and "There are a lot of works that make you want to tsukkomi." The three titles at the top have in common scenes that ask for a comment, from a mismatched ending song to a student thrown into a wall.
