PLAMAX Adds Max and Milia Super Battroid Valkyries at 1/72
Putting both Jenius machines out as near-identical kits keeps the matched pair available to buyers who want the two on one shelf, and the PLAMAX price point puts the Super Valkyrie equipment within reach of builders who are not chasing a larger-scale collector kit.

Max Factory's PLAMAX line is issuing two 1/72 VF-1J Super Battroid kits from Super Dimension Fortress Macross, one for Maximilian Jenius and one for Milia Fallyna Jenius. Each builds as the Super Valkyrie configuration with propellant tanks and booster-mounted missile pods, or as a standard Battroid. Molded parts run to 9 colors for Max and 8 for Milia, with water-transfer decals and a same-scale pilot figure.
The pair is listed through Rakuten Books at 7,318 yen each including tax, against a reference price of 8,800 yen including tax. Both kits are sold by Max Factory and are assembly-type plastic models, so nippers and adhesive are needed.
Joints use polycaps for posing, and six reaction missiles come with each kit for underwing armament. Markings are reproduced with water-transfer decals. The painted samples in the product images are not the molded finish.
