KOMODO and AstralShift released Pocket Mirror: Golden Dream on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on October 22. The game, a remaster of the 2016 title Pocket Mirror Classic, came to Steam in 2023. The console release lands at the 10th anniversary of the original version. A Halloween illustration contest runs on X until November 11, with a merchandise giveaway starting October 29.
The console versions arrive ten years after AstralShift released Pocket Mirror, the RPG Maker title the studio says started its history; AstralShiftPro was formally established in 2022. Golden Dream keeps the premise of a girl who wakes in a mysterious mansion with no memory of her past and only a small hand mirror, solving puzzles to learn who she is. The new release comes with a fresh key visual, and the Halloween Illustration Contest asks for fan art on a Halloween party theme through November 11. From October 29, a Gleam lottery offers goods including an XL mouse pad with the new key visual, acrylic stands and sticker sheets.
