Real Akiba Communications has produced nine original characters called REAL AKIBA CHIBEES that call to mind members of the anison dance group REAL AKIBA BOYZ, and it revealed the key visual on October 15. The nine are described as characters who appeared in the streets of Akihabara. Names, profiles, and the development story will follow, with updates on official social media and a special site.
The key visual for REAL AKIBA CHIBEES appeared on October 15, the same milestone the company cites for the project: 20 years since the start of activities.
The nine characters are said to have been living with Chaka Jii at an antique shop before losing their place, passing through the sewers, and emerging in Akihabara, where they meet nine human dancers who look like them. The design brief is guessing: each character carries features that, on a closer look, point to a specific REAL AKIBA BOYZ member. Names, profiles, and the development story will be released in sequence through official social media and a special site.
