The television anime adaptation of the light novel series Rich Girl Caretaker will premiere on July 4, 2025, at 2:38 a.m. on TV Tokyo and BS Asahi, technically airing into July 5. The first promotional video, released on Friday, also revealed the opening theme song "Sai Sai Saikōkyū no Osewa Shite" performed by the band angela, and two new cast members: Ami Koshimizu as Shizune Tsurumi and Takehito Koyasu as Kagen Konohana. The previously announced lead cast includes Yūto Uemura as Itsuki Tomonari, Konomi Kohara as Hinako Konohana, Saori Ōnishi as Mirei Tennōji, and Rio Tsuchiya as Narika Miyakojima. Shūsei Morishita, known for School Babysitters, is directing the series at Brains Base. Aya Yoshinaga is handling series scripts, and Nao Kawashima is designing the characters. The light novel series, written by Yusaku Sakaishi and illustrated by Sakura Miwabe, began publication under Hobby Japan's HJ Bunko label in May 2021 and has released 11 volumes. A manga adaptation by Sorahiko Mizushima is ongoing. Crunchyroll will stream the anime in multiple regions including North America, Europe, and Oceania.
The sound director is Takeshi Takadera, whose credits include Laid-Back Camp, Oshi no Ko, and To Your Eternity. The music is composed by Natsumi Tabuchi, Hanae Nakamura, and Mayo Kurihara. Tabuchi worked on Aggretsuko and My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, Nakamura on The Quintessential Quintuplets and the same Villainess series, and Kurihara on Hell Mode.
The light novel series began as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2020 before Hobby Japan picked it up for print under its HJ Bunko imprint in May 2021. The 11th volume was published on October 31. The manga adaptation, illustrated by Sorahiko Mizushima, started on Hobby Japan's Fire Cross website in September 2021; the sixth volume is due on June 1.
The English-language release from Monogatari Novels remains uncertain. Amazon lists the first three volumes with a March 3, 2026 release date and an "Out of Print-Limited Availability" status. The publisher's website is not currently accessible. A May 2025 post on Monogatari Novels' X account stated, "Due to some issues with customs as a result of the new tariffs the current release dates for our titles are undertermined."
Crunchyroll will stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India.
