Sazae-san Tops Japanese Animation TV Rankings For September 14-20
The chart shows the familiar Kanto weekend block of Sazae-san, Detective Conan, and Chibi Maruko-chan still holding the top three spots against a slate of late-night anime and family films that drew single-digit shares below 3.2%.
Reporting from 1 source: Anime News Network.
Sazae-san led the Japanese animation TV rankings for September 14-20 with a 6.6% rating, followed by Detective Conan at 6.3% and Chibi Maruko-chan at 4.6%. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 4 posted a 3.1%. A live-action A Solitary Gourmet marathon re-airing on TV Tokyo scored 4.5%, while The Fortune Favors Lady Nikuko earned 0.8% on NHK Educational.
The week of September 14-20 kept the same structure that has defined the Kanto animation chart: Fuji TV's Sunday evening block and NTV's Saturday block carried the highest numbers, and everything else trailed behind. Two non-series broadcasts entered the same frame, a live-action marathon re-airing on TV Tokyo and an anime film on NHK Educational.
The figures are estimates from Video Research for the Kanto region and do not count viewers who watch recordings later.
