Sega Reveals Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Year 2 Roadmap
The roadmap turns CrossWorlds into a rolling crossover hub through 2027 rather than a game with a fixed content window, with Sega drawing on its own catalog and outside franchises for characters and courses.

Sega announced a roadmap for Year Two of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, launching November 3 with Duel Mode, a Gadget System upgrade, new characters Bayonetta and Aigis, and two new machines. Collaborations follow through 2027, including Godzilla, Evangelion, Sanrio Puroland, a Final Fantasy VII Remake Midgar Pack, and a Persona Reload pack, plus a Sonic the Hedgehog: Memories and Beyond short film debuting November 12.
The roadmap runs from launch through late 2027. Godzilla arrives alongside Year Two on November 3, Evangelion follows in January 2027 with two characters and three machines, and the Virtual Sanrio Puroland collaboration lands in Q2 2027. The Segaland Pack, with the Segaland course, three machines, and a Midgar Pack (working title) from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series, is set for Q3 2027, and the Reload Revival Royal Pack from the Persona series for Q4 2027. The Year Two season pass adds the Sega Controllers Decal Pack, a Consoles Pack, and Super Shadow with Super Dark Flare.
