Sega's FIGURIZMa Unit-01 Figure From Evangelion Hits Arcades Next Spring
Sega is placing a new Evangelion Unit-01 prize figure into arcades on a spring timeline without a fixed date, leaving the release window and the source of the unfamiliar pose as the two open questions.
Reporting from 1 source: Inside.
Sega plans to release the figure "FIGURIZMa -Unit-01-" from Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition at amusement facilities nationwide starting next spring. The pose is described as Eva-like and shows a form not seen in the original work, which has drawn questions from fans asking what scene it depicts. The announcement directs readers to wait for further updates from the official account.
The figure is the latest Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition item aimed at the arcade prize market, where Sega's releases reach players as crane game and lottery prizes rather than as retail products. The pose is the detail drawing attention: it reads as Unit-01 but does not match a scene from the films, and the announcement does not name one. Sega has not given a specific date beyond next spring, and the company points to its official account for the details still to come.
