Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Adds Ban, Uniting All Seven Sins

Netmarble updated Seven Deadly Sins: Origin on August 26, adding Ban as a playable character, which completes the roster of all Seven Deadly Sins. The update also includes a free SSR Meliodas, main story updates, and the Great Heist Festival half-anniversary event, which shares 5 billion star fragments. The game is available on PC via Steam, PS5, iOS, and Android.

Ban joins the roster as the Fox Sin of Greed, an attack-specialized character. He uses three weapon types: a three-section staff, a great sword, and a gauntlet. The three-section staff applies Chain effects that boost critical rate and ignore defense, and his special attacks scale with the number of Chain stacks.

The update also distributes an SSR Meliodas for free and adds main story content. The Great Heist Festival runs now, sharing 5 billion star fragments among players. Since launch in March, the game has added Escanor in April, Merlin in June, and Gowther in July, and the developer says it has refined ease of play over those months.
