A small studio's audience award at Game Access and its 80,000 wishlist registrations turned into a paid Steam launch with Japanese support and a discount window, with a PS5 release still to come.

Brocap Studio released the sheepdog adventure Hubert for PC on Steam. Players control Hubert, a fluffy, confident dog who guards a flock and a young girl named Lily, guiding dozens of distracted sheep to pasture before the story moves into the northern wilderness. The game won the audience-voted Best Game award at the Game Access Conference 2026 in the Czech Republic in May 2026 and drew over 80,000 Steam wishlist registrations. It costs 2,800 yen, with a 10% discount through October 29. A PS5 version is planned for a later date.
The release follows an audience vote at the Game Access Conference 2026 in the Czech Republic, where Hubert took the Best Game award in May 2026. It had already drawn over 80,000 wishlist registrations on Steam before launch, which is the kind of number a two-person project does not usually see.
Hubert runs on movement, scent, and instinct rather than a mission list. Lily, a resourceful girl who talked the valley's most ill-tempered farmer into hiring her, works alongside him. The demo remains on Steam, and the discount runs through October 29.
