Six Contact Points Now Tie Anime And VTubers Together
PANORA's second-part feature sorts the current links between anime and VTubers into six categories: VTubers singing theme songs, serving as PR ambassadors, appearing inside works, voicing characters, having their own manga adapted, and having their worldview turned into animation.

Why it matters
Casting VTubers for songs or roles still carries rarity value in 2026, so the ties run through personnel and promotion rather than through any settled pipeline.
Key Facts
- PANORA's feature lists six contact points between anime and VTubers as of 2026.
- Hoshimachi Suisei, Mori Calliope, Nornis, Higuchi Kaede and Hizuki Yui sing anime theme songs.
- KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO's five main members performed as V.W.P for Kamitsubaki City Under Construction.
- Tsukino Mito, Debidebi Debiru and Lulu appeared in THE RIBBON HERO.
- Asano Ruri played a main character in Jashin-chan Dropkick X.
Examples include Hoshimachi Suisei, Mori Calliope and V.W.P, plus Tsukino Mito's role in THE RIBBON HERO and KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO's Kamitsubaki City Under Construction.
The feature lists the six routes as theme songs, PR ambassadorship, in-work appearances, voice acting, source manga adapted to anime, and VTuber worldviews animated directly. It also adds a staffing angle: an animator brought in for a music video, or a character designer or manga author handling a VTuber's visual design, counts as a contact point too.
On the voice side, the roster stays small. Tsukino Mito, Debidebi Debiru and Lulu appeared in THE RIBBON HERO, and Asano Ruri played a main character in Jashin-chan Dropkick X. The piece notes that early appearances were as the performers themselves, while current ones treat them as cast.
