SNK streamed an animated trailer on Thursday for Kim Kaphwan, the DLC fighter who joined Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves the same day. Masami Obari directed and served as creative producer, with Studio G-1 Neo on animation. SNK also posted a character guide and Kim's background music. June Yoon voices Kim in English and Kunihiro Kawamoto in Japanese.
Masami Obari returned as director and creative producer for the trailer, after handling earlier animated spots for the game, and Studio G-1 Neo produced the animation. SNK paired the reveal with a character guide and Kim's background music.
Kim is the third Season 3 addition, after Rick Strowd on July 23 and Duck King on August 27. Manjiro Sano and Ken Ryuguji from the Tokyo Revengers anime arrive in October, Laocorn follows in November, and SNK has left December open for an unnamed character.
The game is out on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release set for October 22 digitally and January 2027 physically.
