The physical release gives Switch 2 owners a packaged option for both RPGs months after the download versions went live, with store-specific extras tied to the e-STORE and Amazon Japan listings.

Square Enix released a physical Nintendo Switch 2 bundle of Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II on October 1, priced at 6,820 yen. The download version has been available since July 13. Buyers through the Square Enix e-STORE receive digital wallpapers, with redemption open until October 16, 2026, plus original stickers while supplies last.
The package carries both RPGs on one physical release for Nintendo Switch 2, and the storefront split decides what buyers get on top. Purchases made through the Square Enix e-STORE within the stated window include digital wallpapers drawn from key visuals for both games, in desktop and smartphone sizes, with redemption running until October 16, 2026. Original stickers are also part of the offer and are limited to available stock. Amazon.co.jp lists its own version of the bundle.
