Star Detective Precure! Sets Magical DoReMi Crossover For October 25
The crossover joins two series that already share a date on the calendar, since Star Detective Precure! is set in the same 1999 the original Ojamajo Doremi debuted in, making the team-up a built-in part of the show's premise rather than a one-off gag.

The official website for Star Detective Precure! announced the anime will cross over with Ojamajo Doremi (Magical DoReMi) in its 39th episode on October 25. A collaboration visual and character visuals show the Star Detectives in Ojamajo Doremi-themed witch apprentice costumes. The Halloween-themed episode follows Star Detective Precure!'s story, which is set in 1999, the year the original Ojamajo Doremi anime premiered in Japan.
The episode is the 39th of Star Detective Precure!, the 23rd main anime entry in the Precure franchise, and airs October 25 as a Halloween-themed installment. The story of Star Detective Precure! is set in 1999, the year the first Ojamajo Doremi anime premiered in Japan. Anna Akechi, a second year middle school student from 2027, travels back to 1999, meets Mikuru Kobayashi, and the two transform into Precure detectives to stop the Phantom Thieves. The Ojamajo Doremi franchise later reached the United States in 2005 as Magical DoReMi, and its 20th anniversary film opened in 2020.
