Physics-Based Corpse-Carrying Co-Op Game 'We Are So Cooked' Launches October 15

Publisher 1312 Interactive announced on August 27 that Dwarven Brothers' co-op stealth game 'We Are So Cooked' will launch on Steam on October 15, 2026. A release date trailer accompanied the announcement. The game casts players as accidental murderers who must dispose of a corpse to cover up the crime. The body is physics-based, floppy, and difficult to handle: dragging it alone is slow and leaves bloodstains, while carrying it with up to three other players risks dropping it down stairs or catching it on door frames and furniture. Stages include a luxury hotel and a heavily guarded underground bunker, populated by civilians, guards, security cameras, and guard dogs. Players can use tools found on site, such as wheelchairs, mops, and noise-making toys, to distract threats and move the corpse unseen. If a civilian spots the body, they scream and guards rush over; a guard finding the corpse ends the game. The game supports solo play and online co-op for up to four players, with Japanese display planned. Console versions are also planned for a later date. Dwarven Brothers is based in Tenkasi, India, and previously announced the zen garden game 'Zen Quest' for Steam.
