Aerosoft GmbH announced Seaworks: Trap Season, a crab fishing life simulation game set in the 1990s Pacific Northwest. Developed by Binary Impact and Alchemical Works, it launches this year on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players start with a small boat, take faxed orders, and sort catches by hand. The game emphasizes maintenance, weather, and steady income over quick riches.
Publisher Aerosoft GmbH and developer Hindsight Studios announced on August 3 that they are making 'BERGWERK - A Mining Sim', a single-player coal mine management simulation set in the fictional German mining region of Glückauf Valley. Players start with a small plot of land and a pickaxe, then build surface facilities such as headframes, storage, and processing plants while digging procedurally generated multi-level mines underground. The game simulates tunnel supports with physics calculations, so a poorly placed support can cause a roof collapse. Players must also manage power supply, drainage, ventilation, and gas and dust levels. Mining methods range from pickaxes and explosives to longwall mining and room and pillar mining, and the game includes more than 15 drivable heavy machines, including the licensed MAN TGX truck. Coal is transported to the surface via belt conveyors, railways, skip hoists, and trucks, then sold on a market with fluctuating prices. Loans are available when funds run short. The game is planned for PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A release window has not been announced.
Publisher Aerosoft GmbH announced Firefighters Code Red on July 21, a firefighting simulation from developer Chronos North and Smart Ambition. The game supports single-player and cross-platform cooperative play across over 30 North American locations, with dynamic fire spread, building collapse, and changing rescue routes. It is scheduled for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
