Seihantai Na Kimi to Boku Season 2 PV 3 Reveals Ending Theme by Mega Shinnosuke
The third promotional video for the second season of the TV anime "Seihantai na Kimi to Boku" has been released, along with the announcement that the ending theme song is "Unmei no Kimi" by singer-songwriter Mega Shinnosuke. The second season is set to begin airing and streaming on July 5, 2026, on MBS/TBS network's 28 stations nationwide every Sunday at 17:00, with the fastest streaming on ABEMA and Prime Video starting at 17:30. The PV depicts Suzuki and Tani as third-year high school students preparing for entrance exams, and the shifting relationship between Higashi and Taira triggered by Higashi's words. A portion of the ending theme can be heard in the video. Mega Shinnosuke commented that after reading the original manga and discussing with the anime production staff, he wrote a rock song aiming to support the backs of people living through the youthful days depicted in the story. The anime is produced by Lapin Track, with direction by Tomokazu Nagatomo and series composition by Teruko Utsumi. The cast includes Sayumi Suzushiro as Suzuki, Shogo Sakata as Tani, and others. The original manga by Aga Sawa Koucha has exceeded 2.1 million copies in cumulative circulation and won multiple awards.
