Horror Game Veterans Compare Origins at The Tenth Mosaic
Frederick Raynal, Keiichiro Toyama, Makoto Shibata and Kono Hifumi spoke together at The Tenth Mosaic, held at the Institut francais in Tokyo on September 22 and 23. Raynal described wanting to render George A. Romero's zombies in 3D after playing the 1991 game Cube, while Toyama traced SIREN to his Konami years and Shibata traced Fatal Frame to the PlayStation 2's improved expression.
