The official website for Devils' Crest, the television anime of Reki Kawahara's Demons' Crest novels, announced four classmate roles on Wednesday. Yusuke Kobayashi plays Teruki Sugamo, Maaya Uchida plays Aria Misono, Rie Murakawa plays Kai Kisanuki, and Sora Amamiya plays Sumika Watamaki. The anime premieres worldwide on November 6 on Amazon Prime Video, with Ado performing the opening theme.
The staff for the television anime of Umikaze Minamino's Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden light novel series revealed the second promotional video on Tuesday, along with four new cast members and confirmation that the series will run for two consecutive cours. The new video previews the opening theme song "Respawn!!" by VTuber Tsunomaki Watame. The four new cast members are Kōichi Sakaguchi as Bendelio, Junichi Suwabe as Hyurence Altoire, Maaya Uchida as Sharro White, and Kazuyuki Okitsu as Asuma. The anime premieres October 6 on Tokyo MX at 9:25 p.m. JST, followed by BS NTV and MBS, and will stream on ABEMA, d Anime Store, and U-NEXT after broadcast. HIDIVE will stream the series as it airs. An advance screening of the first three episodes is set for September 22 at the esports TOKYO BAY studio. Motoki Nakanishi directs at KONAMI animation, with Haruta Segi as assistant director, Gigaemon Ichikawa on series scripts, and Naoki Endō composing the music. The anime adaptation of Hekiru Hikawa's manga 'Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life' released its second promotional video on June 24, 2026. The trailer previews the opening theme 'High Maintenance Girl' by Masayoshi Ōishi and the ending theme 'Very Good Encounter' by Maaya Uchida, who also joins the cast as Meru Tsumugina. The anime stars Jun Fukuyama as Ryusei Narukami and Akira Sekine as Meteor Hanaori. The supporting cast includes Seena Hoshiki, Hitomi Ueda, Sora Tokui, Nene Hieda, Rie Takahashi, Hiromi Igarashi, Ayasa Itō, and Yōko Hikasa. Hideyo Yamamoto directs the series at LIDENFILMS, with series composition by Yukie Sugawara and character design by Yousuke Okuda. The official website for the television anime of Ryon's manga Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san? updated on Thursday to announce additional cast members, a delay to January 2027, and a tie-in music project. Newly announced cast include Maaya Uchida as Chinatsu Iwakura, Tomokazu Sugita as Hibiya, and Daisuke Ono as Kazami. The anime was previously scheduled for 2026 but will now premiere in the Super Animeism Turbo programming block on MBS, TBS, and 26 affiliated channels in January 2027, airing Thursdays at 0:26 a.m. (effectively Friday). Before the anime airs, the franchise is launching a music project for lead character Mai Chihara. Her first digital single, a cover of Nayutalien's Alien Alien, will be released on July 25, 2026. The anime is directed by Yasuaki Fujii at Synergy SP, with series composition by Keiichiro Ochi, character designs by Majiro, and music by Arisa Okehazama at King Records. CloverWorks revealed the cast and characters for its original omnibus anime film Grotesqqque on Saturday. The 14-person cast includes Kana Ichinose, Maaya Uchida, Rie Kugimiya, and four members of Nogizaka46. The film, directed by Atsushi Nishigori, will open in 2026 and comprises three stories with different worldviews.
