Max Factory is releasing a new version of its POP UP PARADE L size figure of Guts wearing the Berserker Armor from the manga Berserk. The Bloody Paint Ver. adds blood splatter paint across the figure and the large sword Dragon Slayer, increasing the brutality of the design. The figure is based on the cover illustration of Volume 28 of the comics. It stands approximately 280mm tall including the vignette base. The blood is applied so heavily that it is unclear whether it comes from enemies or from Guts himself. The figure is scheduled for release in May 2027. The prototype was created by Hiroshi Yuasa of Max Factory, with coloring by Asuka Marunouchi. The price is 9,800 yen including tax. The distributor is Good Smile Company. The copyright line credits Kentaro Miura, Studio Gaga, and Hakusensha. This release follows a separate announcement from threezero, which is taking pre-orders for a Casca action figure from the Golden Age Arc, but the two products are distinct and not directly related.

Point Set announced on Sunday that the second season of the Berserk of Gluttony television anime will debut in 2027. The announcement came with a celebratory video message from Ryota Ohsaka, the voice of protagonist Fate Graphite. The first season aired from October to December 2023, spanning 12 episodes with animation by studio ACGT. The main voice cast returns, including Tomokazu Seki as the black sword Greed, Hisako Tojo as Roxy, Misato Matsuoka as Myne, and Hitomi Sekine as Eris. Tetsuya Yanagisawa directed the first season at ACGT, with series composition by Mariko Kunisawa and character designs by Takafumi Furusawa. The season 2 announcement visual, previously shared in April, shows Fate and Roxy holding hands to form the number "2," with Roxy in a new outfit. The original light novel series by Ichika Isshiki began as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro service before launching in print with illustrations by fame in November 2017. The manga adaptation, drawn by Daisuke Takino, started on Micro Magazine's Comic Ride website in April 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment releases both the novel and manga in English.

Good Smile Fest 2026 Osaka is showing a painted prototype of Guts wearing the Berserker Armor and covered in blood. The figure, named Guts [Berserker Armor] Bloody Paint Ver. L size, has an undecided price and release date. The display also includes Guts [Berserker Armor -Sanity-], Griffith [Hawk of Light], and Void, who is scheduled for a February 2027 release at 10,800 yen including tax.

Bandai Spirits will re-release the S.H.Figuarts Guts (Berserker Armor) figure in January 2027. Pre-orders open Monday, August 3rd, 2026, at general retailers. The figure was the first in the Berserk S.H.Figuarts line and includes the Dragonslayer, crossbow, cannon, Behelit, cape, and multiple expression parts.

Seven Seas Entertainment announced seven new manga licenses on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, spanning isekai adventures, supernatural horror, and a yuri romance. The slate includes The Berserker NPC Unknowingly Destroys the World, Influencer Hero: After Saving Another World, I Got Rich Streaming Dungeons!, Wandmaker of the Ruined World, The Kaiju Autopsy, The Moon Cries at the Final Wish, My House Cat Became the World's Strongest?!, and It's a Secret, Shirotae-sama. Each series will debut in English print between February and May 2027, with volume 1 priced at $13.99 USD / $18.99 CAD. Several titles are manga adaptations of existing light novels, including Wandmaker of the Ruined World, which is based on a novel by Hagane Kurodome with art by Nori Kazato and Kayahara. The Berserker NPC and Influencer Hero also originate from light novels, with the former's novel already available digitally from Seven Seas. The Kaiju Autopsy, a standalone work by Mado Saito, follows a scientist investigating a colossal kaiju corpse. The Moon Cries at the Final Wish, by Suu Minazuki, centers on a vampire angel and the Seven Luminaries. My House Cat Became the World's Strongest?! features a giant cat leading its owner through dungeons, while It's a Secret, Shirotae-sama is a vampire academy romance under the Seven Seas GL imprint.

Bandai Spirits is releasing a new S.H.Figuarts action figure of Guts in his Beast of Darkness state, based on Kentaro Miura's manga "Berserk." The figure, officially named S.H.Figuarts Guts (Berserker Armor) -Fury- <Battle Ver.>, stands approximately 160mm tall and includes a cloth cloak, the Dragon Slayer sword, and three interchangeable wrist part sets. Pre-orders open on Premium Bandai on July 24, 2026, at 16:00 JST. The coloring has been updated for the figure, cloak, and Dragon Slayer to evoke action scenes from the series. Newly molded effect parts are included: a cannon effect, stomping effects for both feet, and a dedicated base for the cannon effect. The figure also comes with an illustration card. Studio Gaga supervised the design. The price is 14,300 yen (tax included), with shipment scheduled for January 2027. The set does not include shipping and handling fees.

Prime 1 Studio held a new product exhibition in Tokyo in June 2026, displaying statue figures announced during the online event NEXT LEVEL SHOWCASE XVIII. The exhibition featured statues from Godzilla Minus One, including Godzilla vs. Shinsei Maru; the theatrical Chainsaw Man - Reze Arc, with figures of Chainsaw Man & Beam and Reze/Bomb; and Overlord. Masters of the Universe statues of He-Man and Skeletor were shown, alongside The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Treebeard with Merry & Pippin. Items from Aliens and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen were also on display. A separate part of the exhibition focused on Berserk, unveiling statues of Guts, Griffith, Zodd, Slan, and the Sea God's Whore. The exhibition was held at a location in Tokyo, and Dengeki Hobby Web published photo reports covering the new items.

Young Animal magazine confirmed Berserk Chapter 384 will release on June 12, 2026, ending an eight-month hiatus. The chapter is the first of three planned consecutive releases. The story continues the Eastern Exile arc, with Guts imprisoned by Daiba in the Kushan Empire.

Good Smile Company streamed its 'Nendoroid FUNS Good Smile Fest 2026' on June 4, 2026, unveiling a wide range of new Nendoroid figures. The event showcased colored samples and prototypes for numerous upcoming releases. Highlights included a 2.0 version of Mio Akiyama from 'K-On!', Saber in casual wear from 'Fate/stay night', and the Blue-Eyes White Dragon from 'Yu-Gi-Oh!'. Vocaloid characters such as Neru Akita and Haku Yowane also received new Nendoroid forms. South Korean indie developer Studio Brakio demonstrated its 2D action game MODULE:BERSERK at the BitSummit PUNCH event. The game follows an emotionless automaton butler protecting the sole surviving young lady of a ducal family in a steampunk dystopia. Combat centers on evasion and a timed dodge triggers Berserk Mode. The studio plans branching endings based on player choices.
