At the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 streamed on June 8, Xbox Game Studios and developer inXile Entertainment revealed a new trailer for the steampunk action RPG Clockwork Revolution and announced a 2027 release window. The game is set in the giant city of Avalon and centers on an invention that allows players to jump into the past, altering history through choices and actions that create butterfly effects. The latest footage shown includes cutscenes of characters and combat sequences with various guns. Clockwork Revolution will be available on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, as well as Xbox Series X|S. The title was first announced in 2023 and has been described as a first-person shooter with time-manipulation mechanics set in a Victorian-era cyberpunk world.
