Indie developer somasolo released a new gameplay trailer for Cobra Strike, a retro-style action shooter where players pilot military helicopters like the Cobra and Apache. The game draws from 1990s titles Desert Strike and Soviet Strike, featuring 16-bit visuals, inertia-based flight, and resource management. A release date has not been set.
CobraTekku Games announced that 'KIYO - Bunny Tyranny' will release on Nintendo Switch on June 25 and on PC via Steam on June 26. The 2D side-scrolling stealth action game is set in Rabbit Hole City, a neon-lit cyberpunk dystopia ruled by smartphone-addicted rabbits. Players control Kiyo, a feline former predator, using stealth, ropes, and carrots to overthrow the rabbit dictatorship. The game is developed by UK indie studio PixelRats.
A collaboration between Buichi Terasawa's Cobra and the archive label Number Rock brings vintage-style T-shirts, tote bags, and enamel mugs. A lottery for exclusive multi-screen silk-printed tees opens May 25, with reservation items available through June 13.
The second TV anime season of Cobra has started streaming for free on YouTube. Unlike the 1982 first season, many episodes in this new season are receiving their first video adaptation.
