Crimson Moon Sets September 2 Release at 2,490 Yen

ProbablyMonsters announced on August 5, 2026 that its action RPG Crimson Moon will launch on September 2 in Japan, with a September 1 release in North America due to time zone differences. The game is a dark gothic action adventure set in the ruined city of Gildenarch, where the player takes on the role of a Nephilim, a hybrid of human and angel created to protect humanity. Players battle demons, the undead, and vampires through melee combat, using weapons, mystical powers, and angelic transformations. The game supports two-player online co-op, with difficulty and enemy composition changing from single-player mode, allowing previously played missions to feel fresh. Missions are designed for repeated play, with higher difficulty yielding better rewards. The base game costs 2,490 yen on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A Deluxe Edition priced at 3,750 yen includes the Ritual Armor Set, the Axe of the Gods weapon ornament, and later-released expansion content. The title was first announced at State of Play in February 2026 with a fall release planned.
