That's No Moon Announces Single-Player TPS 'Crossfire' at Summer Game Fest 2026
Developer That's No Moon announced a new single-player third-person shooter titled 'Crossfire' during the Summer Game Fest 2026 livestream on June 6. The game is a story-driven entry in the long-running 'Cross Fire' series originally created by Smilegate Entertainment. It follows two soldiers-a female hired combatant named Leila and a male operator named Cross-who must cooperate despite mutual distrust to survive a reconnaissance mission in the Atlas Mountains. Gameplay emphasizes terrain use through movement and cover, with an 'Adaptive Cover' system that dynamically adjusts to the environment. The trailer showed battles in rocky outdoor areas and interior facilities. Platforms are PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Publisher Team K1 is handling the release. Smilegate Entertainment invested in That's No Moon in 2021, at which time the studio was said to be working on an AAA narrative action adventure game. The official website is now open, though no release date has been given.
