Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Switch 2 Version Launches Worldwide on August 28
FromSoftware announced on June 4 that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Elden Ring, titled Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, will launch physically and digitally worldwide on August 28. The Switch 2 version was delayed from 2025 to 2026 for performance adjustments. The Tarnished Edition bundles the base game, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, and new content: four armor sets, two new origins, and three Torrent appearance options. Pre-orders for the physical edition begin June 5, and digital pre-orders start June 11. The suggested retail price in Japan is 9,020 yen including tax. The new armor, origins, and Torrent customization will also be released on other platforms-PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam-as a paid DLC pack called the Tarnished Pack, priced at 550 yen including tax, launching the same day. Pre-order and early purchase bonuses include two in-game gestures: Ring Pose and Miquella's Ring. A limited-quantity package with a poster, gesture code, and special case will also be available.
