Eriko Kimura released her first DVD, Blooming Beauty, and held a solo release event for it on October 11 at Sofmap AKIBA Amusement Hall. She continues to appear regularly on the variety show Gravure Idol Aotenjo!!, and a second DVD is scheduled for December 18.
Eriko Kimura works at an IT company while doing gravure work, and the two most recent stories about her fix a release schedule around that day job. Her first DVD, Blooming Beauty, runs 105 minutes and sells for 4,620 yen from Spice Visual. She held a release event for it on October 11 at Sofmap AKIBA Amusement Hall, her first solo event. A second DVD is already scheduled for December 18, so the calendar now has two discs on it rather than one.
The October 11 date carried more than the solo event. The same day, Gravure Idol Aotenjo!! vol.15 was held at Sofmap AKIBA Amusement Hall with Kimura among the performers alongside Mizusawa Ao, Sakuragi Haru, Nishino Yumena, Fujita Azusa and Miyagawa Miyabi. The format was a dance battle in which the better dancers drop out early and the worse ones remain and lose. Nishino joined as a guest for the first time and said she wants to take on challenges boldly; the next edition is set for November 23.
Across the two stories, Kimura's position is fixed in two places: a regular slot on Sofmap's event show and a DVD release line that has moved from one title to two. Both stories put her at the same venue, and the newer one ties her to a format built on losing on purpose rather than on a solo stage. She names a weekly magazine cover as her next target.
