EverQuest Legends Pre-Orders Open, Official Service Starts July 28
Daybreak Games and developer Game Jawn opened pre-orders for the PC MMORPG 'EverQuest Legends' on June 17, with official service scheduled to begin July 28. The game is a reconstruction of the 1999 classic 'EverQuest', rebuilt for solo and casual play. It retains the original's graphics, art style, magic effects, and music from 1999, while revamping the user interface and optimizing magic and ability management for modern convenience. Players can select up to three classes simultaneously, with 15 races and 560 class combinations available. The base game costs $19.99 and includes one month of play time; subsequent months cost $9.99. Pre-order purchasers receive access to a dedicated beta test running from July 1 to July 21, the right to reserve a character name for the official service, and an in-game exclusive title 'the Legend'. Beta progress will not carry over to the full release. The game supports groups of up to 4 players and raids of up to 8 players, but all content is designed to be completable solo.
